OCTOPUS

The motor yacht Octopus, delivered in 2003 by Lürssen from Germany, boasts a length of 126.2m, a beam of 24.6m, a draft of 5.8m, and a volume of 9,932 GT.

Designed by Espen Øino International for exploration, the superyacht showcases interiors by Jonathan Quinn Barnett Ltd and Monk Design, and naval architecture by Lürssen Yachts. The Octopus accommodates up to 26 guests and 63 crew members, including the captain. Constructed with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the yacht is powered by 8 Mercedes engines, giving her a cruising speed of 17.0 kn and a top speed of 29.0 kn, and a range of 12.5/12500 n/m nautical miles at a speed of 17.0 kn. The yacht has a capacity of 174,886 liters of water.

The Octopus ranks as the 33rd largest yacht in the world and is the 15th-largest yacht built by Lürssen.
